On Wednesday the Lady Tigers traveled to Robert C. Byrd High School for their first game of the City Construction Company Hoops Classic to face off against Cameron High School. The game had 15 seconds left before halftime the score was 23-24 Elkins was down and Autumn Lane was at the free throw line and tied the game with 3 seconds left. Cameron inbounded the ball passed up the court to Ashley Dobbs for a 3 point buzzer beater before halftime. They never gave the lead back to Elkins with the final score being 55-42 with a loss for Elkins.
