Elkins High School had a fun week for the last week of September. The week of homecoming was celebrated by themed fun days of school spirit week. Spirit week allows students to dress up to show their school pride and their own individual style.
Monday was Adam Sandler day. Students dressed up as the famous laid back comedian. Wednesday was Teacher/Student swap day. Students and teachers swap looks for a day. Thursday was throwback Thursday. Students channelled looks from the past. Friday was school colors day. Freshman wore orange, sophomores wore white, juniors black, and seniors all school colors.
Spirit week allows students to have fun and participate in the fun. The week finished with a pep rally celebrating homecoming.
“It was a fun week. I enjoyed seeing everyones interpretation of the different themes,” Olivia said.
