Vice Principal of Elkins High School Mr.Currence, addresses questions about the parent drop-off line and other ways to get to school. He talks about time and other things letting us know when students enter the cafeteria. Usually, students come in around 7:10. When asked about the line. He agrees some things have changed. Such as it started going a different route which they expected would make it faster, but it appears that it made the line slower.
“In the last couple years not much has changed, the times are still the same”, Mr. Currence said. He believes that there have been changes such as the route change. They expected the route change to make the line faster, but it appears it’s done to make it slower.
Juliann H. mentioned that the parent drop-off line has felt longer. She believes that the school has way more freshmen than the previous years. Many people decide to drive to school because it’s faster and not as crowded as the bus. Juliann thinks that there may just be more people in the high school and not just freshmen.
“Yes, it takes forever. I feel like there are more people whose parents are taking them to school this year,” Juliann said.
