In the Randolph County technical center Mr. Lambert holds a Skills meeting every Wednesday. Skills is a career technical student organization. The purpose of this club is to help promote and help the students have high standards for trade ethics and workmanship. The club is run by the students and organized by the students that are in the Skills USA club. All clubs have an impact on the students and people involved.
“ This club probably gives them a taste of democracy and they are given the opportunity to make their own decisions,” Lambert said.
Skills USA positively impacts the students, they are able to do a wide variety of things that will help them achieve big things.
“We have a lot of successful students and kids that go to trade school and are out doing big things, we also have kids that go into the military,” Lambert said.
