What goes on during the skills club? Students join this club to be able to have the opportunity to branch out and develop certain skills. They are given opportunities to go to competitions, community service, and they also are given a supportive community.
“During the club meetings we cover new things and old things and we also talk about upcoming events,” Teagan Shaffer said.
For example old things they would cover would be the canned drive. The students get to give to people and do good things for the community like the canned food drive they were helping people in need.
“Knowing that I’m helping and knowing the things are going to a good cause makes me happy and being able to be around people and communicate with them is enjoyable,” Teagan Shaffer said.
