Elkins High School freshman basketball player Gavin White talks about playing on the gym floor after it has been redone. The school had started the process of redoing the gym floor in early November and finished right before the Thanksgiving break.
White states. “Yes they redid the gym floor”
The school let players play on the gym floor. For the first time since the remodeling during Thanksgiving practice
White said “I have played on the gym floor in basketball practice”
The Freshman Basketball team is a whole team this year because it is only for freshmen. So for a lot of players, this is a good experience and a tool to help them decide whether or not to continue in the future. The hope is most of the students will decide to continue their EHS basketball career.
Whites Adds “The high school basketball has been fun and a good learning experience to get better at basketball”
