On March 8, the Little Dress Drive is holding a prom dress drive from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. This event helps juniors and seniors find their dream outfits for prom. There are over 50 beautiful dresses, with sizes ranging from 1/2 – 19.
Not only can you find a prom dress, but you can also pick up a jumpsuit, jewelry, shoes, and purses. The Little Dress Drive was fortunate enough to have community support with several local businesses that are serving as drop-off locations for donations. This includes Davis Trust Company, Elkins Physical Therapy Service, and Alexandria on Main. If you have any donations, you can go to one of the 3 drop-off locations.
For many students, purchasing a prom dress is simply too expensive. This prom dress drive is completely free of charge. Many members of the Little Dress Drive organization, such as founder, Madalyn Ferguson, and volunteers, Maddie Lambert, Rachel Himes, and Lilly Anger are ensuring every person has the support they need to have the best 2025 prom.
The Augusta Heritage Center is partnering with The Little Dress Drive to get their first pop up store. If you would like to come get your dream outfit, visit the first pop up shop, located on 303 Davis Avenue, on March 8 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
