Auditions for the upcoming theatre production of The Velveteen Rabbit will take place on Friday, September 5, from 3 to 4 p.m. in the school’s theatre.
Based on the beloved children’s book by Margery Williams, The Velveteen Rabbit tells the heartwarming story of a toy rabbit who longs to become real through the love of a child.
“It’s based on a children’s book,” said theatre director Mrs. Armstrong. “It’s a family-friendly show.”
The production will run approximately one hour, and although official show dates have not yet been announced, interest is already building. Earlier this week, a preparatory audition workshop was held for those considering trying out.
“It’s a really fun childhood classic for a lot of people—I think they will really enjoy it,” said student Brooklyn Johnston.
