Biden Selected Nomination For Supreme Court

Thursday evening, February 25th, 2022, President Biden announced his decision for his Supreme Court Nominee. During his presidential campaign, President Biden announced that he would place an African American woman on the supreme court during his presidency. On January 26th, President Biden would get this opportunity, as Supreme Court Judge Stephen Breyer announced his retirement.

Following this, the president would begin observing the work of the DC Federal Court Appellate Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. “If she could get appointed into the Supreme Court, it would be a great step for both Women and African Americans alike.” Sophia Putnam stated.
