Elkins High traveled to Trinity Christian in Morgantown, West Virginia on Wednesday December 7, 2022. They went into the game 1-1 with a win against Scott, and loss to St. Albans. In the first quarter the Lady Tigers outscored the Warriors 19 to 6. They continued that dominance into halftime where the score was 29-16. Elkins came out of halftime with the same offensive spark scoring 20 in the third quarter, but conceded 17 on the other end allowing the score to stay in reach at 49-33. In the fourth quarter Elkins came out dropping 16 points but allowing 14 making the final score 65-47. The Lady Tigers advance to (2-1), and will face Southern(MD) for their home opener at 3:45 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2022.
