On Thursday January 19, Elkins had a top 10 matchup against #4 East Fairmont. East Fairmont blew things open to start the game outscoring the Tigers by 8 in the first quarter. Elkins got the wheels going in the second reducing the deficit down to 4 as they went to halftime down, 27-23. East Fairmont took control right back in the third, dropping 19 points in the third. Elkins started to get a rally going but it was too little too late as the Tigers lose another AAA top 10 matchup 55-47. Throughout the game East Fairmont never surrendered the lead. Crouso led all scoring with 18 points. Miller led all Tiger scoring with 15 points. The Tigers fall to 8-5 and will be back in action against Lewis County on January 24th.
