Tigers Survive Minuteman
On Tuesday night, the Elkins Tigers traveled to Weston to take on the Minutemen of Lewis County. The game started as a back and forth affair as Lewis County led by 1 after 1. Elkins were able to even things up before halftime at 28. Elkins was able to pull out a slight lead going into the fourth. In the fourth, the game turned into a back and forth affair as Watson was able to hit a lay up to take the lead with 13 seconds that won the game 60-59. Miller of Elkins and Griffith of Lewis county tied to lead scoring at 21. Elkins improves to 9-5 and will be back in action on the road to face the Indians of Bridgeport.
