The 2023 season was an eventful season for the Elkins High School golf team. The golf team performed unprecedentedly well, with the team able to compete in the West Virginia State Golf Championship in Wheeling, WV.
“It’s been years since we’ve had an entire team go to state.” Elkins High School Athletic Director Ross Ware said.
The State Championship was held on Tuesday Oct. 3 through Wednesday Oct. 4. In attendance were 55 teams from across the state. Attending from Elkins were Javier, Lucas, Drew, and Dylan.
