Elkins High had their first win of the season from their homecoming game on Friday, September 29. The score was 28-7. With Elkins having three touchdowns, and kicking four extra-point attempts Nick Bowers played a crutial role in helping the Tigers win the game.
Nick stated, “It was a great win for us, it definitely raised confidence. It was a great game and I really enjoyed playing it.”.
During half time, Elkins had their annual homecoming crowning of the queen. For the 2023 representatives we have freshman Reese, sophomore Lily, and junior Ellyse. The senior representatives we have are Saniya, Kourtney, Aliyah, Macie, Laney, Gracelin, Emerson, Cadence, Abby, and Ella. This year’s 2023 Homecoming queen was senior, Saniya.
