On Nov. 13 the girls’ volleyball team will be traveling to Charleston WV to take on the Bridgeport Indians at states at 10 am. Previously, the girls worked hard to defeat the North Marion Huskies at Regionals and the score leading them to a victory was 3-1.
“I think we’re gonna do good, we’re all excited so that momentum is going to carry over,” Aubrey C. said.
The team has a positive attitude and are going to have a positive approach to this game.
“We’re gonna go in humble and ready to play.” Madyson S. said. “We are going to work hard.”
This season has been a great season for these girls and this has helped them be positive and achieve their goals.
“This season went so much better than we expected,” Leah O. said. Another girl on the team feels the same. “It was such a big turn around,” Aubrey C. said.
The girls explained that the biggest strategy that has helped them achieve this accomplishment was working as a team and having fun.
“Playing as a team and having fun has got to definitely be the bare minimum,” Leah O. said.
