Football Shutout in Season Finale

Last Friday night, Elkins High finished out their 2022 football season on the road against the Buccaneers of Buckhannon-Upshur for the two teams 100th meeting. During the first half, Buckhannon had their ground game going as quarterback Dawson Tenney had a 3 yard touchdown then later in the half running back Savion Farmer got a touchdown from a yard out. Buckhannon would take that 14-0 lead into halftime.

Late in the third quarter Farmer got into the endzone for the second time that game, after a missed extra point the score would be 20-0. With a second left in the third, Bryson Johnston took a ball to the house from 46 yards out and that would be the final score of the game as Buckhannon-Upshure took the win 27-0.

Elkins finishes the season with a 1-9 record.
