Lucian Breault is a junior football player at Elkins High School, having played since his freshman year. He spoke highly of the sport, stating his interest in football derives from watching the NFL and supporting his favorite team.
“The 49ers, I’m from California, and I had a teacher in 4th grade who really liked them. Which got me into it.” Breault said.
He describes his best season as this year despite breaking a bone while he played. It is important to recognize particular qualities to strive for being better.
“My strength would be quickly thinking under pressure,” Breault said. “Something I’d like to work on is being a leader.”
There remains an important factor for him when it comes to his progress in football, even without having a direct goal.
“I just play and have fun,” Breault said, “my motivation is to make the people in my life proud.”
