The Tigers opened up the 2023 portion of the season on Wednesday when they took on the Cougars of Lincoln County. The Tigers were able to open up the game with the lead and kept their defense up to end the half as they led at halftime 27-16. The Tigers were able to keep their defensive pace going in the second half as Elkins gets the win 52-42. Tanner Miller led the Tigers and the game with 14 points. Jayce Brooks and Brayden Edgell led Lincoln in scoring with 12 points. The Tigers improve to 5-3 and go back to action on January 5th to take on the Huskies of North Marion.
