On Monday night, the Lady Tigers were on the road to face the Eagles of Robert C. Byrd. Elkins was able to pull a slight lead to finish the first quarter. During the second, RCB had a surge to end the half, going into the locker up 28-22. The Eagles ballooned the lead again in the third. Elkins did not have a chance to cut the lead due to not scoring in the entire fourth as the Lady Tigers dropped their third straight as RCB won 65-33. Howe led all scoring with 21 points. Corley led the Tigers scoring 12 points. The Tigers fall to 9-10 on the season and will be back in action on Wednesday, February 8th to face the Rams of Southern (MD).
