On February 2nd, the Tigers were on the road to face the Buccaneers of Buckhannon-Upshur. Elkins was able to pull a slight lead to end the first. B-U found some rhythm in the second to tie the game at 25 at halftime. Elkins took control back in the third quarter pulling out a 6 point lead. In the fourth, Elkins held off B-U for long enough as the Tigers get the win by the final score of 61-57. Harper led all scoring with 22 points. Zuliani led Buccaneer scoring with 14 points. The Tigers improve to 10-7 and will be back in action on Friday, February 10th to take on county rival, the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs.
