Weak Second Half Cost Tigers

On Saturday night, the Tigers were on the road to take on the Applemen of Musselman High. The Tigers were able to take a slight advantage in the first quarter. Musselman was able to answer back in the second to tie the game at 25 at the half. In the third, Musselman took complete control of the game, limiting Elkins to only 7 points in the quarter. The fourth only got worse for Elkins as they were limited to single digit points again in the fourth as Musselman takes the win, 49-37. McClain led all scoring with 21 points. Watson led all Tiger scoring with 16 points. Tigers fall to 11-8 as they get plenty of time to rest as they get ready to face the Hawks of University on Thursday, February 13th.
