Students at Elkins High School will present their first live play production since COVID first started. “Same Room, Different Story” by Claire Broome, is a vignette play about different challenges teens face as they grow up and how they deal with them. The play focuses on both funny and dramatic topics.

“Last year we did a radio play but we didn’t do it in front of a live audience, we recorded it and put it on YouTube. This is the first live production we’ve had since 2019.”, informed Ms. Armstrong the school’s theater director. “I think the kids might even be more excited than I am!”

“I’m excited to tackle problems that are faced today in this play!”, sophomore Hannah Payne states.

Performances will take place on December 10 and 11 at 7p.m. as well as December 12 at 2p.m. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the door. For more information contact [email protected].
