After earlier concerns were raised about the cyber safety program Skyll being used in schools, there has been little response from those involved with the project.
In addition to reaching out to the platform Episode regarding possible similarities between the two programs, we also attempted to contact Skyll directly. Messages were sent on Instagram to Graeme Page as well as the official SkyllNation account. Both messages were marked as seen, but several days have passed without a reply.
The initial controversy surrounding Skyll at the school has largely died down in recent weeks. However, conversations among students suggest that opinions about the program remain mostly negative. Some students continue to question whether the game-style format is effective for teaching cyber safety, while others are still curious about the similarities to Episode.
For now, there has been no official response from the creators of Skyll. If any statements are released or additional information becomes available, further updates will follow.
